My name is Ozzie and I’ve been an application developer for 20+ years. I graduated from Portland State University with a BS in Business Information Systems and a Minor in Psychology. I’ve been toying with computers for quite some time and got into coding in the early 1990s. After graduating from PSU, I worked at a few startups in the late 90s before getting my foot in the door at Intel Corporation in May of 2000 as an Application Developer. I worked for Intel for 16 years and then decided it was time for me to venture out on my own to A) spend more time with my family and B) work on learning how to be my own boss. I’ve since started my own company and have, through hard work and word of mouth, been able to successfully sustain a beautiful work/life balance.
I have actual hands-on work experience in a wide range of industry: product data management, event management, issue management, bill of material, medical, law, document management, various reporting, automotive, and finance. I’ve worked on custom desktop applications, Microsoft Office applications, web applications, general websites, eCommerce websites, custom web services, and more for both the enterprise and small businesses.
I have hands-on work experience with a plethora of development tools and programming languages including, but not limited to, Microsoft .NET framework, C#, MS Visual Studio, MS Visual Source Control, VSTO (Microsoft Office tools), MS VS Team Services, ASP, MVC, Entity Framework, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Java, JSP, HTML, HTML5, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, PHP, Mysql/MariaDB, MongoDB, SQLite, various javascript libraries, GIT, Node.js, Angular.js, XML, and WordPress.
My goal is to always deliver simple and reusable code, bug free! I feel like my work experience allows me to typically delivery pretty quickly. I try to make sure to only take on as few projects as possible at the same time so that I can ensure delivery of a quality product. I always try to make myself as available as possible for all of my clients and typically receive great feedback for my availability and work.
Please, feel free to contact me either by phone or by email. I’d be happy to schedule a free initial consultation to see if we’re a good match! Thanks for taking the time to read about me and my work!
